Working At Home with Children

I know it is sometimes hard and frustrating to work at home with the children around.
It is really important to know when to take breaks. I know you can feel guilty too because you are working from home.
If you have little ones, it is a good idea to do the majority of your work when they are napping. That way you have less interruptions and you will not feel guilty.
Another way to occupy them is to put them in the room with you with a little desk all of their own. You can set up their desk to look like yours. You are then teaching them to "work."
You can also get all of your work done while the kids are at school so when they get home you can spend time with them.
If you have older ones, they can help watch the little ones. Giving them activities to do with the younger child is a good idea. This teaches your older child responsibility and they feel great that they can help out.
You can find a lot of things to do on the Internet.
Here are some great resources for you to check out for activities to keep the kids busy and at the same time, help them along in their education.

It might be important to take jobs that do not require a quiet work place. You can check out
www.freelanceworkexchange.com - There is a fee to sign up - but it is under $3.00 (you get a trial period and then they charge your account monthly after that).

I know that a lot of companies are now hiring bloggers and this is something that you can do from home without worrying about the children interrupting you. I have recently seen jobs also for people to post on forums on a consistent basis. With the Internet really exploding, blogging is becoming a field that is highly needed and people who are running their websites really don't have time to do this, so they outsource this kind of work all of the time.
On www.about.com you can apply to be a guide. This is another great type of work to do with busy, young children around your feet!
If you have a situation that comes up, please comment about it under this post and I will try and help you with whateever I can to make your work at home experience a lot more enjoyable.

Have a GREAT day!
